Like OMG Beckett and Castle being all domestic! Beckett in freaking slippers! I just can’t!
Slippers and yoga pants and…Oh God. JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!
She’s so awkward with the baby! I freaking love it lolBut why is she putting the baby in the floor? This is not The Sims Beckett.

Beckett getting picked on by Esposito.
Am I the only one that loves it when the boys give Beckett the occasional swipe too (remember when she picked that horrible movie for date night)?. Love the bro-sis friendly ribbing and Beckett pouting in its wake.

Headcannon: Simon Doyle is a made up name, and he’s actually Ryan and Jenny’s son, and that’s how he knows so much about their future. Because they’re not just Castle and Beckett, they’re Uncle Rick and Aunt Kate. But he’s also not allowed to tell them everything about their future, so some of what he told them isn’t real.

You heard the lady!
I am still waiting for the explanation on Alexis’s behavior, till then I don’t think I have to “love” her. Sure she is smart but that doesn’t answer it. I just hate when children have this kind of attitude with their parents.
Yep, me too. We haven’t seen this arc play out in full yet, so I’m trusting the writing team till we do.
As to her attitude…well, it kinda reminds me of myself at the same age (I may well have used very similar words when I moved out a year or so older than Alexis). It isn’t pretty, but it realistic.
I see, I have never been in that situation so I guess that’s why I don’t get it. It’s just me and my mom and we talk about our problems and differences so it does’t get to this stage. Considering the good relationship between Castle and Alexis I didn’t expected this. They should have talked more to each other
I think the Castle-Alexis relationship is a bit more broken than we realize. And between his book tour and time in DC and nearly dying…I can understand why they haven’t been talking. I think we’ll explore the breakdown (and rebuild) more in the next couple of episodes.
Honestly some parent-child relationships improve a lot after the kid moves out. And in the grand scheme of things, what she is doing doesn’t feel that bad. Heck I’ve known people who’ve jumped into marriage around that age knowing each other not much longer than Alexis and Pi have. Living together is not really a huge deal, to me personally.
And maybe it’s not just about Castle/Beckett relationship? But the thıng through the years. I mean for example there was Gina and we don’t know that much about that time, and there were lots of “Bachelors”. I think Castle have become more stable after starting to shadow Beckett.
I hope they fix it too :)
The problem with that age is: people think they have become old enough and they know everything and they wont make mistakes. Every one make their own set of mistakes but some mistakes shouldn’t be made at the first place. I am not against kids moving in together, but really do they now how much responsibility that is? And it doesn’t mean moving out if your parents is still paying the rent and all.
I don’t particularly think it is about the Castle-Beckett relationship. At most that is ancillary. At her core, Alexis wants her dad to be happy, and she sees Beckett makes him happy. No, this is about Castle and Alexis figuring out their own new dynamic now that Alexis is an adult and Castle can’t quite cut loose the apron strings.
I thought the conversation in TWT established that Alexis would pay her own way in terms of rent etc (apart from her tuition, which Castle shouldn’t not use as a leash or to blackmail her into staying at home…that would make her resentful and worsen their relationship). I actually thought that was a nice piece of character development for her, because generally we’ve seen Alexis pretty blase and fiscally irresponsible (understandably growing up rich), so this side to her which is going to see her stand on her two feet (along with Pi) after moving out actually endears me to her a little.
